Patient Participation Group
The Aims of the Patient Participation Group
Our PPG is an informal group at present made up of 5 patients and a staff member. We meet approximately every two months but this is flexible!
Our purpose:
- to be informed and have a voice regarding the changes and events taking place in the practice
- to have an opportunity to share ideas and suggestions directly with a member of staff in a positive environment
- to be kept up to date with the practice via guest speakers i.e. Carers Federation, Learning Disabilities Team, GPs in the practice and Admin staff to mention but a few!
What the PPG cannot be:
- a platform for individual complaints
- a platform to discuss individual health concerns
- a negative environment
Commitment:
- As much or a little as you like
Our aim:
- To meet at least quarterly.
- To have a group of people who we can make contact with when a patients perspective is required (via questionnaire, virtually or face to face)
